Detectives from the Geelong Criminal Investigation Unit are appealing for witnesses following an armed robbery at a milk bar in Herne Hill early this morning.
Police have been told two men entered the milk bar on McCurdy Road around 5.30am.
It is believed one of the men who was armed with a knife, approached the attendant and handed over a plastic bag, making demands for cash.
The victim placed cash from the till into the bag and both men fled the scene, possibly in a vehicle.
No one was injured during the incident.
The offender armed with the knife was wearing a grey hooded top and track suit pants at the time of the armed robbery.
