Detectives from the Robbery and Serious Crime Squad and Canobolas Local Area Command have arrested a 24-year-old woman in relation to an armed robbery at Orange last month.

The robbery occurred just after 7.30pm on Sunday 7 April 2013, when a staff-member at a golf club on Ploughmans Lane, Orange, was confronted by two men, one of whom was armed with a long-barrelled firearm.

The armed man allegedly forced the staff member to lie on the floor, before the pair stole an amount of cash from the club’s safe and escaped the premises.

Detectives have been investigating the incident under Strike Force Aldgate.

Three men were arrested yesterday morning (Tuesday 28 May 2013), with two men, aged 22 and 25, charged with robbery while armed with a dangerous weapon, and a 21-year-old man charged with drug offences. They were all refused bail and will appear at Orange Local Court today.

About 1.45pm yesterday, a 24-year-old woman was arrested at Orange Police Station and charged with being an accessory after the fact to armed robbery, and hinder police investigation.

She was granted conditional bail to appear at Orange Local Court on 20 June 2013.

Meanwhile, detectives are still trying to locate another man who they also anticipate charging with the robbery. He is described as a 19-year-old man of Caucasian appearance, about 170cm tall with a thin build and short, blond hair. He has a tattoo of the name ‘Ella’ on the right side of his neck.
