Police are investigating the armed robbery of a bottle shop that occurred last night.

At 10.50pm, three men entered the store on Gympie Road, one was armed with a knife.

Two men threatened a male attendant before the trio left the scene in a dark coloured vehicle with a sum of cash, cigarettes and alcohol.

The attendant was not physically injured.

The men are described as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander in appearance and were wearing gloves.

Two men were wearing red hooded jumpers, while a third man was wearing a light blue hooded jumper and dark blue cargo shorts.
