Police have released CCTV images of a man who may be able to assist with their inquiries following an armed robbery at a shop at Muswellbrook.

About 7pm on Tuesday 28 May 2013, a male armed with a knife entered the shop on Bridge Street, and threatened the 19-year-old female employee demanding items from the store.

The woman placed a number of items into the man’s bag before he fled the premises.

Police from Hunter Valley Local Area Command have commenced an investigation and believe the man depicted in the images may be able to assist with their inquiries.

He is described as being of Caucasian appearance and 170cm to175cm tall. He is shown wearing a grey coloured hooded jumper and blue coloured tracksuit pants with white stripes down both legs.
