Police are investigating the armed robbery of a western Sydney service station overnight.

About 10.30pm (Sunday 2 June 2013), two men entered the service station on Guildford Road, Guildford, with their faces concealed and armed with a cricket bat.

The pair threatened a male employee before fleeing with cash and cigarettes.

Police were alerted and officers from Rosehill Local Area Command attended and commenced inquiries into the incident.

The offenders were last seen running along Milner Street.
