3 June 2013 – Armed Robbery – Bank – Burleigh Waters

Gold Coast detectives are investigating after a Burleigh Waters bank was robbed by a man armed with a handgun this morning.
Around 11.30 the man entered the business located on Classic Way and demanded money from a female teller.
He fled on a pushbike with an undisclosed sum of cash.
No one was injured during the robbery.
The man is described as aged between 40 and 50, and was wearing dark pants, jacket and cap, and had his face covered.
