ACT Policing is investigating an alleged robbery which occurred in Griffith this afternoon (Sunday, June 9).
About 12.05pm, a man entered the Shop-Rite store. He threatened staff, demanding cash.
The staff member complied, handing over a small sum of cash. The offender left the store on foot, in the direction of Throsby Street. The offender is described as Caucasian, with pale, bad skin. He is about 170cm (5’7”) tall with a thin build. He is believed to be 35-40 years of age. He has crooked teeth and his speech was slurred.
During the robbery, the offender was wearing a grey windcheater, dark tracksuit pants with white stripes down the side, gloves and white shoes with a black band.
