Police have released CCTV images after the robbery of a service station in the state’s north.
About 3.30am on Thursday 30 May 2013, two men entered the service station on Minjungbal Drive, Tweed Heads South, armed with knives.
A male shop attendant was threatened by the men who demanded cash.
They left a short time later on foot with an amount of money and police from Tweed/Byron Local Area Command were notified.
The employee was not injured during the incident.
Investigators have conducted a number of inquiries and today released CCTV images of man who may be able to assist with their inquiries.
The depicted man is described as being of Caucasian appearance, with a thin build and short brown hair.
He is shown wearing dark pants and a dark coloured jumper with ‘SPARE 93’ written on the front.
Officers believe the man was travelling in a new model blue Holden Commodore sedan.
