Police have charged four men following investigations into the robbery of a supermarket in White Rock on Wednesday night.
It will be alleged around 9.30pm, four men entered the business on Progress Road in White Rock before one of them forced a female attendant to the floor.
The men allegedly stole a quantity of cigarettes and a sum of cash before leaving the store.
The attendant was taken to hospital for treatment of non life threatening injuries.
A 21-year-old White Rock man was charged with two counts of burglary and one count each of robbery with violence whilst in company, enter premises and commit an indictable offence and obstruct police.
A 17-year-old Parramatta Park man and an 18-year-old White Rock man were charged with one count of robbery with violence whilst in company.
An 18-year-old White Rock man was charged with one count each of robbery with violence whilst in company and obstruct police.
The men are expected to appear in the Cairns Magistrates Court today.
