A man was arrested today in connection with the robbery of a TAB outlet at Findon in July. Detectives from the Serious Crime Task Force within the newly formed Serious and Organised Crime Branch (SOCB) arrested the 33-year-old man from Daw Park and charged him with robbery and abduction. It is alleged that on 6 July a man threatened a woman as she was closing the outlet on Findon Rd, stole cash and forced her to drive him to Glenunga. The accused was refused bail and will appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court on 12 August. SOCB officially launched this month and brings the roles of Drug Investigation Branch, Crime Gangs and Organised Crime Investigation Branch into a single structure to ensure the enhanced co-ordination of resources and intelligence sharing. – See more at: http://www.sapolicenews.com.au/more-news/16182-man-arrested-in-connection-with-findon-robbery.html#sthash.UMVpU48N.dpuf
