21 August 2013 – Update – CCTV Released – Armed Robbery – Tavern – Ashmore

Police have released CCTV images of a man who may be able to assist with their inquiries in relation to the armed robbery of a tavern at Ashmore this morning.
Around 10.30am a man walked through the main entrance of the premises at the corner of Cotlew Street and Currumburra Road and approached the gaming room counter.
The man claimed he was armed with a weapon and made demands for money.
An undisclosed amount of cash was handed over from the till.
The man left the scene and was last seen heading towards Currumburra Road.
A weapon was not sighted during the robbery.
No one was physically injured during the incident
