South Australia Police have released their monthly state and Local Service Area crime statistics. Check them out … State-wide the statistics over the last 12 months to the end of July show that reported offences against the person have fallen one per cent and the total reported offences against property have fallen four per cent, which has resulted in an overall drop in reported crime three per cent. The release of these statistics, which can be found online at www.police.sa.gov.au each month, is part of a commitment to extend our communication and engagement with the community. Anyone who is interested – within the wider community, media, Government and SAPOL staff – is able to access the information by selecting their area of interest on our interactive map (available at: http://www.police.sa.gov.au/sapol/about_us/statistics/crime_statistics.jsp). A link then takes the user to the appropriate Local Service Area data. The SAPOL statistics have been compiled in compliance with nationally accepted and approved counting rules. – See more at: http://www.sapolicenews.com.au/more-news/16684-police-release-monthly-statistics.html#sthash.WAIC8QrR.dpuf
