Coomera detectives are investigating after a man armed with a knife attempted to rob a Southport convenience store this evening.
Preliminary information indicates the man entered the Nerang Street business around 8pm where he threatened a female employee.
The woman ran from the store and the man fled empty handed.
No one was physically injured and no property was stolen.
