Police are appealing for information following an armed robbery in Sydney’s south-west.
About 9.10pm yesterday (Tuesday 3 September 2013), police were called to a service station on The Horsley Driver, Wetherill Park, following reports of an armed robbery.
Police have been told that two men, armed with knives, entered the store and threatened the 33-year-old male employee.
The two alleged offenders obtained an amount of money and then fled the area on foot.
Police attached to Fairfield Local Area Command have commenced inquiries.
They would like to speak to two men in relation to the incident.
The first man is described as being of solid build, wearing a brown, hooded jumper, black pants, a chequered bandana over his face.
The second man is also described as being of solid build, with a black, hooded jumper, black pants and a bandana over his face.
Both men were also wearing sunglasses.
