Police are investigating an aggravated robbery at the Halfway Hotel in Beverley overnight. At about 12.15am, a man entered the hotel armed with a knife, threatened staff and demanded cash. The suspect fled with an amount of cash and was last seen walking through the car park towards Port Road. No one was injured during the incident.The suspect is described as a man of Caucasian appearance, 180cm tall, solid build, approxiamtely 35-years-old.  He was wearing grey pants and socks, a dark hood over his head and had blue PVC tape over his mouth. He was not wearing any shoes at the time and was carrying a green recycle shopping bag.
