2 October 2013 – Armed Robbery – Supermarket – Strathpine

Police are investigating the armed robbery of a supermarket at Strathpine that occurred this morning.
Around 8.55am, a man entered the Gympie Road store and approached an employee at the counter.
He produced a weapon and made demands for money.
The employee handed over a sum of money from the cash register, and the offender fled the store on foot.
No one was injured during the incident.
The man is described as Caucasian in appearance, approximately 188cm tall with a slim build.
Investigations are continuing.
