Police have charged a 27-year-old Warra man and a 25-year-old Woodford man over the attempted armed robbery of a conveience store in Ipswich this afternoon.
It will be alleged that a man enterned the store on Warwick Road just after midday, where he threatened the female attendant with a knife.
He then fled the store on-foot after being disrupted by the attendant and got into a vehicle parked near the business. The vehicle was intercepted by police a short while later.
Both men have been charged with attempted armed robbery and will appear in the Ipswich Magistrates Court tomorrow.
