10 November 2013 – Armed Robbery – Convenience Store – Earlville

Cairns Police are investigating the armed robbery of a convenience store at Earlville last night.
Around 9.20pm a man and another person entered the Mulgrave Road shop before the man produced a knife and jumped onto the counter.
The pair made threats towards the male attendant before stealing a sum of cash and cigarettes and leaving the store.
No one was physically injured during the incident
The man is described as being about 177cm tall with a proportionate build while the other person of unknown gender is described as being about 170cm tall with a slim build.
Investigations are continuing.
