Police are renewing their appeal for information following an armed robbery at a grocery store at Coonabarabran, in Western NSW, earlier this month.

About 8:40pm no Friday 8 November 2013 a man entered a grocery store on Delgamo Street and asked for cigarettes.

While the employee was retrieving them the man pulled out a knife and then demanded the cash from the till.

The man then took an amount of cigarettes and fled from the scene.

No one was injured in the incident.

Officers from the Mudgee Local Area Command attended the scene and an investigation was commenced.

Police are renewing their appeal for anyone with information to come forward and would like to speak to a man shown in CCTV images who may be able to assist with their inquiries.

He is described as being of Aboriginal Torres/Strait Islander appearance with short black hair.  He is shown dressed in a blue baseball cap, black hoodie with white writing, tan cargo shorts, and white sneakers.
