Police are investigating the armed robbery of a licensed club at Coffs Harbour overnight.

About 9:30pm, Sunday 1 December 2013, a woman was working at the club on Jordan Esplanade when she finished her shift and walked to the car park.

Police have been told three men threatened her with a knife before forcing her to open the doors to the club where another employee was in the process of closing up.

The man and woman were forced into the office before the trio stole cash and fled the premises. No one was injured during the robbery.

Detectives from Coffs Harbour are investigating the incident and are looking for the three men who are all described as being of Aboriginal/Torres Strait Islander appearance, aged in their 20s and armed with knives.

The first man was further described as having a medium build and wearing a black balaclava, red chequered jacket, grey hooded top and grey gloves.

The second man was wearing a dark jacket with a light grey hood, brown jeans and white gloves while the third man was wearing a light grey hooded jacket, dark pants and white slip-on shoes.
