A man has been charged following an alleged armed robbery at a shop at Kingswood.
About 11.30am on Thursday 6 February 2014, a man entered the shop on Bringelly Road, armed with a knife.
He threatened the two employees, who locked themselves in a back office.
The man allegedly jumped over the counter and stole cash before fleeing.
On Friday 7 February 2014, a 63-year-old man was arrested at a unit on Stanley Crescent, Kingswood, and taken to St Marys Police Station.
He was subsequently charged with robbery whilst armed with an offensive weapon.
The man was refused bail and appeared at Parramatta Bail Court on Saturday 8 February 2014, where he was again refused bail to appear at Parramatta Local Court on Thursday 27 February 2014.
