Three men have been charged with a number of offences following investigations into an armed robbery that occurred in Nundah early this morning.
It will be alleged that around 2am, two men armed with firearms entered a licensed premsies on Sandgate Road and threatened staff members before stealing cash.
A glass panel was smashed during the incident, injuring a female employee.
It is further alleged that on February 7, three men armed with weapons robbed a League’s Club on Kirby Road, Aspley.
On January 29, it is alleged that two men armed with knives robbed a Waterford West Hotel located on Kingston Road.
A 19-year old Inala man has been charged with eight counts of deprivation of liberty, three counts of armed robbery, two counts of unlawful possession of weapons, and one count each of assault occassioning bodily harm and unlawful use of motor vehicle.
A 17-year old Inala man has been charged with with eight counts of deprivation of liberty, three counts of armed robbery, and one count each of assault occassioning bodily harm and unlawful use of motor vehicle.
A 30-year old of no fixed address has been charged with four counts of deprivation of liberty, two counts of each of armed robbery and stealing, and one count each of unlawful use of a motor vehicle and burglary.
All three men are due to appear in the Brisbane Magistrates Court tomorrow morning, February 17.
