19 February 2014 – Armed Robbery – Tavern – Banyo

Police are investigating following an armed robbery that occurred in Banyo overnight.
Around 11.40pm, a man has entered a tavern on Nudgee Road and produced what appeared to be a firearm.
He made demands for cash, and the attendant complied and handed him a sum of cash.
The man has then left the tavern and was last seen on foot.
No one was injured as a result of the robbery.
The man has his face covered and was last seen wearing dark coloured clothing.
Investigations are continuing.
