Police are investigating the armed robbery of a Bray Park service station that occurred early this morning.

Around 3am, a white Toyota Camry station wagon was used to reverse into the front sliding doors of the Samsonvale Road business, causing the glass to shatter.

A man armed with a metal bar got out of the front passenger side of the vehicle, ran into the business, and yelled out to a male store attendant who had locked himself in a rear store room.

The man then went behind the counter and took two cash register drawers before getting back in the vehicle and fleeing the scene.

The vehicle was last seen heading north along Youngs Crossing Road heading towards Petrie.

No one was physically injured during the incident.

Investitgations are continuing.
