Police have released CCTV images of a person who they believe can assist with their investigation into the robbery of a fast-food establishment on Hank Street, Heatherbrae last month.
About 5.50pm, Tuesday 25February 2014, two shop attendants, a 21-year-old woman and 15-year-old girl, were in the store when a man approached the counter.
The man threatened the 21-year-old with a knife who handed over a sum of cash, before he fled.
Police were contacted and officers from Port Stephens Local Area Command attended establishing a crime scene.
The person in the images is described as an adult male of Caucasian appearance, mid twenties, clean shaven, about 183cm tall, with a slim build, and wearing a black/grey hooded jumper, blue shorts, white sneakers and dark sunglasses.
The crime scene was examined by specialist officers and detectives commenced an investigation.
Investigators are now appealing for anyone with any information in relation to the incident to contact the authorities.
