Police are investigating after a convenience store was robbed early this morning on Logan Road at Greenslopes.

Around 3.40am a man entered the store and demanded money and cigarettes from the attendant while armed with a knife.

The attendant complied and the man left the scene on-foot with a sum of cash and quantity of cigarettes.

He was last seen getting into a white utility, driven by another man and heading south down Logan Road.

The man is described as being Caucasian in appearance and around 180cm tall, with a slim build. He was last seen wearing dark blue hooded-jumper, dark pants, a bandana covering his lower face and carrying a blue enviro-style bag.

Nobody physically injured during the incident and investigations are continuing.
