Police are investigating the armed robbery of a convenience store at Boronia Heights last night.

Around 8.10pm a man entered the Parklands Drive business armed with a knife, confronting a male attendant and demanding money.

After taking money the man then ran from the store.

The 29-year-old male attendant was not physically injured.

The man is described as 183cm tall and was wearing a balaclava, a light coloured hooded jacket, a green shirt and black tracksuit pants.
