Police are appealing for public assistance following an armed robbery at a hotel at Cabramatta West.

About midnight today (Sunday 13 April 2014), a 39-year-old male security guard locked the front door of the premises on Cabramatta Road, with about 10 patrons inside.

At this time, two men armed with firearms forced entry through the door.

They threatened the manager and demanded money.

The manager complied and handed the men cash from the till.

One of the men demanded property from two patrons; however, they refused and the men fled.

The first man has been described as being about 175cm tall, aged in his late 20s, and with a medium build. He was wearing dark-coloured tracksuit pants and a blue-coloured hooded jumper.

The other man was approximately 173cm tall, aged in his late 20s, and with a medium build. He was wearing dark-coloured tracksuit pants and a dark-coloured hooded jumper.
