Two boys are being dealt with under the Youth Justice Act following the attempted armed robbery of a Labrador convenience store yesterday.
It will be alleged around 4.30pm two boys entered the Bellevue Parade business. One of the youths, armed with a knife, jumped the counter and approached the staff member.
The staff member picked up a saucepan from the stove causing the youths to flee empty handed.
Two boys aged 14 will be dealt with under the provisions of the Youth Justice Act.
