Frankston Embona Armed Robbery Taskforce detectives have charged a man following three armed robberies at service stations in Frankston over the past three weeks.

The alleged incidents occurred at businesses on the Nepean Highway in Frankston on 30 March, on the Moorooduc Highway in Frankston on 4 April and on the Nepean Highway in Frankston on 9 April.

Police arrested the 23-year-old at a house in Frankston this afternoon.

The Frankston man was interviewed and charged with three counts of armed robbery.

Mark Roberts faced an out of session’s court hearing this evening and has been remanded in custody.

He will appear at Melbourne Magistrates’ Court tomorrow.
