30 April 2014 – Armed Robbery – Hotel – Coromandel Valley

Police are seeking public assistance to help identify two men wanted for attempted robbery at a hotel in Coromandel Valley.

About 10.45pm, Sunday 27 April, two men wearing balaclavas, approached the locked rear door of the pokie room and rang the doorbell.

Before opening the door, staff saw the disguised men on CCTV and could see one of them was carrying a machete.

A third man was seen acting as a ‘look-out’ nearby.

The men were refused entry and were last seen walking away from the hotel.

Both men were wearing high visibility workman’s clothing, gloves and balaclavas.
