Police are appealing for witnesses following the armed robbery of a liquor store at Concord last night.
About 8pm (Friday 2 May 2014), two men with their faces concealed entered a liquor store on Majors Bay Road and threatened two staff members, demanding money.
The pair was allegedly armed with a hammer and knife.
The staff members complied with the men’s demands and they left on foot via a rear entrance on Majors Lane.
No one was injured during the incident.
Police from Burwood Local Area Command attended the store and established a crime scene.
A Police Dog was able to track the two men’s movements to Brent Street, Concord, where officers believe they drove away in a vehicle.
Detectives would now like to speak to two men who they believe may be able to assist with inquiries.
Both men are described as being of Caucasian appearance, aged in their early 20s, approximately 175cm tall, with thin to medium builds. They were last seen wearing dark clothes and face coverings.
