Police are appealing for assistance after an armed robbery at a service station near Mt Druitt yesterday.

About 4.20pm (Sunday 4 May 2014) two men entered the premises on Luxford Road at Lethbridge Park.

One of the men, armed with a knife, approached the attendant and demanded he open the cash register.

The attendant complied and the two men took cash from the register before running from the scene.

The first man has been described as 183cm tall, medium build, Caucasian appearance, wearing a dark blue hooded jumper, blue full length jeans, black balaclava covering nose and lower part of face and black and white coloured bike type gloves.

The second man has been described as 183cm tall, medium build, Caucasian appearance, wearing a blue coloured hooded jumper (with three C’s across the front) and bone coloured long pants with pockets on each leg just below the knees
