Sturt Police are investigating a service station robbery at South Plympton last night. At about 9.20pm a man armed with a knife entered the service station on Marion Road and demanded cigarettes. Staff handed over several cartons of cigarettes and the suspect ran off. No one was physically injured during the incident. A police dog patrol attended the scene with patrols and searched the area but could not find the suspect. The suspect is described as having a Caucasian appearance, about six feet tall and having a weathered appearance.
