Police investigating the armed robbery of a convenience store at Logan Central last night have released an image of a man who may be able to assist with the investigation.

A man, allegedly armed with a knife, entered the Kingston Road business just before 7.30pm.

The male attendant locked himself in an office behind the console, while the alleged offender left the store with a sum of cash.

The man then entered another customer’s vehicle and demanded to be driven away, before being dropped-off at the intersection of Mawarra and Hill Streets.

The man is described as being Caucasian in appearance and around 170cm, with a medium build.

He was last seen wearing a white Adidas brand hooded-jumper with three blue stripes down the sleeve, dark grey track-pants and grey and white running shoes.
