23 May 2014 – Armed Robbery – Over 50’s Club – Ravenswood

At 10.10 pm on Wednesday 22nd May 2014 a male has entered the Over 50’s Club in Ravenswood and brandished a firearm at the male attendant. The two men have then struggled over the firearm before the offender fled on foot. Nothing was stolen during this incident.
While searching the area, Police attempted to intercept a vehicle which refused to stop for them. Police searched the Invermay area before locating the vehicle abandoned in Conway Street, Mowbray. An extensive search of the area failed to locate any offenders.
