Police are investigating an armed robbery of a Marsden service station by two men in the early hours of this morning.

Around 1.30am two men entered the Third Avenue business.  One man held open the doors and the other demanded money and cigarettes from the 26-year-old male employee.

Soon after, the men fled north along Third Avenue with a sum of cash and cigarettes.

No one was physically injured and police investigations are continuing.
