Police are investigating the robbery of a liquor store at Forest Lake last night.

Just after 7.30pm two men entered the Joseph Banks Avenue business. One of the men, armed with a knife, approached the male employee and demanded money.

The other man went to shelving and started placing bottles of liquor into a backpack.

After money was obtained from the till both men then left the store.

The employee, 59, was not physically injured.

The first man is described as 172cm tall, of average build and was wearing a black cap, black long sleeve jumper, grey trousers and black shoes. His face was obscured by a bandanna.

The second man is described as 180cm tall, of solid build and was wearing a black cap, a balaclava, black trousers and shoes.
