Police are investigating an armed robbery at a service station on Steve Irwin Way overnight.
At around 8.30pm, a man has entered the service station wearing a grey hooded jacket and a black ski mask.
The man produced a knife and demanded money and tobacco products from the attendant.
The man has fled the scene with the stolen tobacco products and a sum of cash and was last seen running towards Bowen Street.
The attendant wasn’t physically injured as a result of the robbery.
The man is described as 175cm tall, slim and Caucasian.
Investigations into the incident are continuing.
