Police are appealing for information after the attempted armed robbery of a café at Glenfield last night.
About 7.50pm (Friday 4 July 2014), a man entered a café on Railway Parade armed with a knife and demanded money from a staff member.
Staff members inside the café ran outside and the man left through a rear door with no property.
Police from Macquarie Fields Local Area Command were called to the business and established a crime scene.
Detectives would like to speak with a man who they believe may be able to assist with inquiries.
The man is described as being of Caucasian appearance, aged in his mid 30s, approximately 178cm tall, with a thin build. He was last seen wearing a black hooded jumper with white writing on the front.
