Police are investigating after a pub at Liverpool was robbed at knifepoint today (Tuesday 22 July 2014).

Just after 1.30pm, a man who had his face concealed entered the premises on the Hume Highway.

Police have been told the man threatened a male bar attendant with a knife and demanded cash.

The bar attendant complied and the man made off with an amount of money. He was seen to leave in a silver vehicle that hasn’t been further described.

No one was injured during the robbery.

Police from Liverpool Local Area Command attended and established a crime scene that was examined by forensic specialists.

They are investigating the robbery and would like to speak to a man described as being about 195cm tall, with a solid build, tanned skin and dark eyes. He was wearing a black jumper at the time.

Anyone with information that may assist police is urged to come forward.
