19 July 2014 – Armed Robbery – Pizza Delivery Driver – Lawnton

North Brisbane detectives are investigating the armed robbery of a pizza delivery driver at Lawnton last night.
Initial investigations indicate that around 8.50pm, the male pizza delivery driver was approached by three men outside an address on Colonial Drive, Lawnton.
Two of the men then threatened the delivery driver, armed with what is believed to have been a sword and baseball bat, making demands for cash.
The driver complied and the men fled the scene with pizzas and a sum of cash.
The victim did not sustain any physical injuries as a result of the incident.
Investigations are continuing.
