Police are investigating after an armed robbery at a licensed premise in Eastwood this morning.
About 11am (Saturday 30 August 2014), a male attendant was working in a club on Hillview Road, when a man approached him.
The man threatened the attendant with a hand gun and demanded cash, he complied and handed over cash before the man ran from the location.
Police were contacted and Ryde Local Area Command attended commencing an investigation.
A crime scene was established and was examined by specialist officers.
No one was injured during the incident.
Investigators would also like to speak to a man who may be able to assist with inquiries he was described as Pacific Islander/Maori appearance, aged between 25-30 years and was wearing a dark hooded jumper and dark sports pants with white shoes.
Police would like to speak to anyone who has any information or witnessed the incident to make contact with Ryde Detectives or Crime Stoppers.
