7 September 2014 – Armed Robbery – Convenience Store – Nerang

Police are investigating an armed robbery at a convenience store in Nerang today.

Around 9.30am a man entered the Adalong Place shop and demanded cash from the shop assistant. When the assistant did not comply it is alleged the man produced a gun.

The man left the store with a sum of money and fled the scene in a vehicle.

The shop assistant was not physically injured during the incident.

Police investigations are continuing
