Police are investigating a second and unrelated armed robbery in Sunnybank Hills.
Around 2am today a man entered a Hellawell Road tavern, produced a machete and demanded cash from the attendant.
The man ran from the tavern with a quantity of cash and was last seen heading towards Jackson Road.
The attendant was not physically injured during the incident and police investigations continue.
