31 October 2014 – Armed Robbery – Club – Auburn

An investigation is underway into the armed robbery of a club in Auburn this morning.

Shortly after 10.40am (Friday 31 October 2014), police from Flemington Local Area Command responded to reports of a robbery at a club on Weymouth Avenue.

Staff told police three men – two armed with firearms and one with a hammer – threatened staff demanding money.

They stole cash from the till then left the scene in a blue car being driven by a fourth man.

A crime scene has been established and an investigation is underway.
