Police are appealing for information following an armed robbery of a liquor store in Rydalmere last night.

Just before 9pm (Friday 7 November 2014), a man armed with a knife entered the liquor store on Pine Street and threatened two male employees, aged 21 and 25, demanding money.

The man fled the scene a short time later, taking cash. The two employees were uninjured during the incident.

Officers attached to Rosehill Local Area Command were called and established a crime scene.

As they continue their investigations, police would like to speak to a man who may be able to assist them with their inquiries.

He is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 40-years-old, and was seen wearing a fluoro yellow hooded jacket, dark sunglasses, and dark rugby shorts.
