1 January 2015 – Armed Robbery – Green Grocer – Pooraka

Police are investigating an aggravated robbery that occurred at a Pooraka shop this afternoon.
At 3.45pm a man entered a green grocer on Main North Road armed with a metal pole and demanded a staff member’s wallet and phone. The victim refused so the man stole cash from the register and ran off.
Thankfully the victim was not physically injured.
The suspect fled on foot to Royal Avenue where another person was waiting in the driver’s seat of an older model white Hyundai Excel.
The suspect is described as being of Asian appearance, 182cm tall, stocky build with black collar length hair. He was wearing a black t-shirt and black shorts.
