Detectives from the Robbery & Serious Crime Squad have joined local police in Nowra to investigate the armed robbery of a registered club at Shoalhaven Heads late last year.
Two males wearing dark clothing and hooded tops, and armed with a shortened shot gun and a black pistol, entered the club just before 9.15pm on Sunday 9 November 2014.
Staff members were directed to lay on the ground while the manager was forced at gunpoint into another part of the club.
The two men escaped with a sum of cash in a new model red or orange Ford which was driven from the scene at high speed.
Robbery and Serious Crime Squad Detectives are now working alongside local police and are examining if this robbery is linked to other armed robberies committed in the South Coast area.
They are appealing for public assistance from any person who has information about the robbery and have released photos of the two men in the hope someone might recognise their clothing.
