A man armed with a handgun fled empty handed after a failed armed robbery of a Beenleigh service station this morning.
Around 1.15am the man entered the City Road business, threatening a 19-year-old man, an employee of the business, and demanding cash.
The man fled after the employee refused to hand over any cash and retreated to a back room.
The man is described as Caucasian, aged in his early to mid 20s, approximately 183cms tall with a thin build and brown hair.
No one was physically injured and investigations by Logan detectives are continuing.
